Bravo! for Irresistibly Yours Designer Scrapbook Paper from Stampin’ Up!

Irresistibly Yours Stampin UP

I just love the Irresistibly Yours Specialty Designer Paper, its free with a £45+ stampin up order and is a nice firm card with a glossy white patter perfect for colouring – either with sprays, or sponges, markers or ink pads,  the embossing resists the colour and you are left with beautifully unique coloured card to make whatever you like with.

I sponged the card with Melon Mambo and Tempting Turqouise to make a marbled two tone purple colour and then using the envelope punch board made a box for a present.

bravo stamp tag

The tag I made using the Bravo stamp set.  I took a piece of velum 2 inches x 4.5 inches and using my Blendabilities markers (melon mambo and bermuda bay) I coloured it in, using the colour lifter pen to blend.  Once it was dry I stamped the sentiment in Black Stazon.  the ribbon started out as Whisper White, but I used the blendabilities and a spritz of rubbing alcohol and left to dry.

I love that Stampin up have over 50 standard coordinating colours, but that you can make your own by a little blending.

My friend Darla Roberts (a SU demo from the US) has asked me to take part in her blog hop with the following questions

1. What are you working on now?

I am getting ready for a couple of card classes and also preparing projects for a great getaway day I am doing at the end of the month for a group of SU demos from Kent.

2. How does your work differ from others in your genre?

As a SU demo we all start with the same products, but the looks that everyone comes up with are so different, I like a bit of vintage mixed in with brights and subtle colours.  Whatever I do I try to do with love, love for the products, love for the recipients and a love of creating something that means something
3. Why do you create what you do?

I think of it as a way of leaving a legacy.  I cant leave cash, but I can make a difference one card at a time.
4. How does your creative process work?

I usually start with the person I am making for, or the celebration or thing I am trying to celebrate, and then just let myself run amok in my craft room until something pops in my head.  I usually have an idea of the stamp set, or colours I want to use, and the rest just comes as and when!

Thats it from me – another action packed week I am afraid – but hopefully I will find some time to craft x
